Postura+ chairs the perfect addition to Rotterdam’s legendary Maassilo

A former grain silo located on Rotterdam’s waterfront, Maassilo is one of Europe’s premier events and entertainment spaces. Originally completed in 1911 and refurbished over the last decade, this imposing concrete building houses nightlife, congress halls, business event spaces, entrepreneurial start-ups, and the Creative Factory, in one of Rotterdam’s thriving cultural areas.

The Creative Factory required a tough yet comfortable chair for its multipurpose spaces. Stackability, durability, easy to clean and sustainability were also important factors. The chair also needed to be a light colour to complement the building’s industrial aesthetic. The Postura+ chair, specified in Ash Grey, provided the perfect solution.

We were looking for an affordable, durable chair with high comfort in a light colour because the spaces do not have a lot of daylight. It had to be able to sit well alongside mid/high-end design furniture in an industrial surroundings, which it does very well. The sustainability of the chair is also a big plus. The competitive price and vertical stacking ability sealed the deal for us."
