Grafton Seating, remixed - new models, new finishes
The expansion of KI’s Grafton seating collection includes new stool, task stool and sled-base chair options. These new models bring Grafton’s distinctive perforated backrest to additional spaces and applications, joining the existing collection of stacking and task chairs. The collection now includes a total of 7 variants, available in 8 polypropylene colours and 3 powder-coated steel frame finishes. Optional upholstered seat pads can be added to all models. Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Grafton collection is available from stock on rapid lead times.

In addition to the new models, 2 new polypropylene-matched frame finishes have been introduced across the collection. This will offer customers better options to mix and match for any colour scheme. The ‘Cool Grey’ frame is a very light grey, almost off-white, whilst the ‘Blue Grey’ as the name suggests is a mid-grey tone that replaces the now-discontinued ‘Silver Grey’. Although these two options were similar, the ‘Blue Grey’ has been chosen to supersede the ‘Silver Grey’ as a match for the corresponding polypropylene option, allowing the specification of a clean, uniform look. Black frames are still available across the full collection.

Josh Hughes, Commercial Manager, FG Library & Learning
We chose the Grafton range of chairs from KI because of the variety of chair styles available which complimented the various functions we wished to provide within the new space, from four leg study chairs to bar height stools. We also chose KI because of the extremely high-quality level and warranty available.
The prestigious establishment that is home to the world's largest equine educational facility was undergoing continuous development and wanted to give students more flexibility to reconfigure spaces according to their needs throughout the day.
FG Library suggested KI’s UK-made Grafton seating collection for its comfort, durability, and cost-effectiveness. These chairs will also be used at the smaller satellite outposts to keep a consistent, distinct space so users can quickly identify the BIPC at multiple locations across the greater Bristol area.
