FISP - Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme
FISP certification confirms our company’s commitment to achieve the principles of sustainable development in the furniture industry. Focusing on not just environmental issues, but also purchasing, end of product life, social and community issues.
FSC® - Forest Stewardship Council®
FSC certification ensure that products come from well-managed certified forests, recycled and other responsible sources. KI Europe works with a supply chain that is FSC certified. Please ask us about our FSC certified options.
Hellios FSQS - Financial Services Qualification System
FSQS (Financial Services Qualification System) is a community of financial institutions including banks, building societies, insurance companies and investment services, collaborating to agree a single standard for collecting the increasing amount and complexity of third party information needed to demonstrate compliance to regulators, internal policies and governance controls.
SKA Rating
Operated and owned by Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors, SKA rating is an environmental assessment tool for sustainable for-outs. SKA ratings are split out for each of the main furniture types. To meet SKA criteria the product must meet one of the six requirements. One of these is that the product comes from a FISP member. As KI Europe is a FISP member, our products meets SKA criteria. Find out more about SKA rating.

Memberships
The Furniture Makers' Company (Corporate member)
Also known as The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, this is one of the City of London's historical Livery Companies. Founded in 1963, it provides support and assistance to those in need in the UK furnishing industry, specifically to students, the retired, and those of working age. Working to ensure the right skills are available to the industry for years to come, the Company focuses on encouraging students to pursue a career in furniture making. For those currently working in the industry, or those who have retired after enjoying lengthy careers assistance is available in times of hardship due to circumstances such as illness or bereavement. It also creates opportunities for training and career development for those already actively involved in the furniture making industry. Jonathan Hindle, KI's Group Managing Director for EMEA was Master of the Furniture Makers' Company between May 2013 and May 2014.
FIRA – Furniture Industry Research Association
The UK’s largest furniture association and the only organisation that provides support to the world furniture supply chain, across all sectors. Jonathan Hindle, KI's Group Managing Director for EMEA is a member of the Council/Board of Directors.

Club Green - Guide to environmental legislation, distributed by FIRA
Club Green assists companies across the furniture industry supply chain with guidance and support to keep abreast of environmental developments. KI joined Club Green to demonstrate our commitment to maintaining robust environmental management systems now, and in the future.
CIUK – Commercial Interiors UK (Formerly BCFA)
Commercial Interiors UK is the British business association for the contract furnishing industry, covering the full spectrum of interior products and services in the UK and globally. The 200+ members showcase the best of British design and manufacturing of furniture and furnishings for commercial buildings throughout the UK and world markets.

CFAS is recognised throughout the UK and Europe as the hub of the furniture, educational and hospitality sector, offering information on all aspects of office and contract furniture.
BFC – British Furniture Confederation
The BFC maintains regular dialogue with Government and other influential stakeholders to ensure that all policies and initiatives support a thriving furniture, furnishings and bed sector. Jonathan Hindle, KI's Group Managing Director for EMEA appointed as the New Chairman of BFC in March 2016.
