West Calder High School's transformative new facilities are the biggest ever single investment in education by West Lothian Council.
The school wanted to replicate the main Chorlton High School building for its new campus 'Chorlton High School South'.
With its extensive curriculum and variety of activities, the school's facilities required a range of seating types including height adjustability, swivel functionality and mobility for their new rooms.
Following the sudden scrapping of the government’s ‘Building Schools for the Future’ scheme, the College’s redevelopment plans were salvaged by an investment of £18m through a Liverpool City Council programme.
