The project
Preston's College new iSTEM Centre (innovation & science, technology, engineering and mathematics) was officially opened in September 2015 by the BBC’s Maggie Philbin. The new £13m facility covers 4,200 square metres and is one of the largest of its kind in the country. Designed to provide learners with a unique opportunity to train and develop the skills desired by local employers, the new facilities feature the latest technology and cutting edge classrooms specifically suited to STEM subjects.

Our solution

  • 265 Maestro chairs, including 84 removable tablet arms - Specified in 6 colours to match the interior scheme, the Maestro chair presented an ideal solution for this innovative environment. Robust, stackable to 38 high on a transport dolly and . These robust, high-density stacking chairs are even more versatile with the addition of the removable tablet arm, creating dynamic and space-efficient classrooms.
