KI supply Intellect Wave IT chair to Barton Peveril 6th form college

April 30, 2014

Barton Peveril, in Hampshire, is a green building with light airy classrooms, solar panels and a rainwater harvester system – which will make studying maths, psychology, and sport three of the most environmentally friendly subjects to study at the school!

The Nobel building is part of £4.2m investment in facilities, designed by HNW Architects & built by Armin Construction. Other facilities within the storey structure include a staffroom, private study area and a coffee shop for the use of staff and students.

The estates and IT staff have also installed more than 1,200 items of furniture as well as 200 new PCs that have been added to the network. KI via Office Team was briefed to supply a high volume of Intellect Wave chairs for this department of the college.

Engineered to withstand tough classroom use, Intellect Wave exceeds industry standards for durability. Elliptical tubing provides superior frame strength. Lightweight, textured poly shells resist scratching, fading, chipping and denting. Hard plastic or laminate tablets provide the most durable worksurface. The result is classroom furniture that gives years of low-maintenance service, backed by KI's 15-year warranty

The KI seating collection meets the stringent requirements of Indoor Advantage Gold (from SCS Global Services) and is ideal for providing solutions for business, education and healthcare sectors.

KI is a global provider of workplace & educational furniture that designs and manufactures locally and offers good value, flexibility & design excellence.
